Hi, I’m Jeff.
Design leader, product designer, doodler, optimist and dad.
I believe good design leaders should never be too far from the work. Being in the details with the team, turning loose ideas into something real is where I’m at my best.
I’m drawn to systems because the best ones create room for creativity, helping talented teams move faster and experiment more freely to make great experiences.
To me, design is equal parts craft, clarity and people.

TIME
Overview
Redesigning for the age of AI, without losing 102 years of trust.
Modernizing TIME’s digital experience while preserving the authority, familiarity, and character of one of the world’s most iconic media brands.
TIME has spent more than a century telling the stories that shape our world. Today, those stories are being discovered, consumed and shared in ways that look very different from even a few years ago.
A century of history comes with a lot worth protecting. For us, the challenge wasn’t simply redesigning TIME. It was deciding what should stay, what could change, and what the next chapter could look like.
TIME’s transformation was shortlisted at the 2026 Cannes Lions in Creative Brand, Creative Technology & Innovation, under the title Reinventing an Icon for the Modern Attention Economy.
- +132% engagement, year over year
- +159% digital ad revenue, year over year
- +156% page views, year over year

Albertsons
Overview
Simplifying grocery shopping for millions.
Albertsons is one of America’s largest food and pharmacy retailers, serving more than 50 million customers. But with 22 mobile apps spread across 10+ grocery brands, its digital ecosystem had become as complicated as the shopping experience it was meant to simplify.
We partnered with Albertsons to rethink how its digital products worked together, transforming a fragmented ecosystem into a unified, scalable experience that made grocery shopping easier for millions.
- +248% increase in digital sales
- +51% increase in registration rate
- +93% improved membership retention rate
- 6 months to launch

Thrive Market
Overview
Digitally delivering sustainable, ethical consumer products.
For this membership-based, e-commerce grocery retailer, we were asked to redesign their experience with a focus to increase their number of sign-ups and first-time purchases.
To help Thrive Market create a digital experience that increased sign-ups and first-box shipments, our design was built of entirely configurable components. This allowed Thrive Market to not just launch a new website, but rapidly experiment, iterate and perfect it over time.
- +9.7% membership sign-ups
- +16% first-time orders
- +33% customers completed orders in-app
- +24% faster speed to checkout

Credit One
Overview
Credit is complicated. The experience shouldn’t be.
As America’s fastest-growing credit card issuer, Credit One Bank needed a modern, inclusive app to allow them to compete with larger national banks while meeting the needs of their growing user base.
For two years, I led this account and a team of 3 designers and copywriters to create mobile experiences that equipped their customers with the tools and support to manage their credit cards, improve their credit score and build healthy financial habits.
- 16% more multi-account conversion
- 36 new app features in a year
- 8.4% year-over-year growth in unique app users

Clover

Overview
Making a whole ecosystem easier to buy into.
Clover sells point-of-sale hardware, software and services to businesses of every size, and it needed a new experience that made sense of how all of it fits together and turned that interest into leads.
We created a content experience that shows the products working together in real businesses, with a consistent look across video, photography and 3D product renders, and landing pages built to convert.
- 200% more traffic to landing pages
- 30% higher lead conversion

Qualcomm
Overview
Making sense of the technology that moves us.
Qualcomm had strong automotive technology in the Snapdragon Digital Chassis, but the way it was presented didn’t match what it could do. It needed to win over automakers and Wall Street analysts.
We turned dense technical material into a clear story about what the platform makes possible inside a car, and launched Snapdragon Elite with an interactive online experience timed to Qualcomm’s Investor Day and CES.
- 44% lower bounce rate
- 279% more newsletter sign-ups
- 12% more pageviews

Under Armour

Overview
Designing around how and why people shop.
Product discovery and checkout are the biggest blockers to conversion in retail, and Under Armour’s shopping experience had grown fragmented and inconsistent across channels and platforms.
We surveyed 100 customers to understand why they shop. Most browse for ideas, and material, durability and shipping all shape what they buy. So we reshaped the journey across the app and site around discovery, clearer product storytelling, iconography that explains product benefits, and an easier path to checkout.

Real Clear Politics
Overview
Answering readers’ questions before they ask.
Real Clear Politics is known for its polling data, but dense numbers can overwhelm readers. With AI changing how people find news, the site needed a better way to keep readers engaged and support its ad business.
We designed and launched Context Lens, an AI-driven system that notices what a reader is looking at, anticipates their questions and answers them right on the page with live data visualizations, from county-level polls to swing-state comparisons. It went from idea to launch in under three months, ahead of the 2024 election.
- 22% lift in ad engagement
- 15% lift in conversion
- 10,000+ live queries on Election Day, with zero errors

I’m a design leader, systems thinker and still very much a designer.
I like big messy problems, small thoughtful details and the space between the two. I’m happiest moving from the bigger picture into the pixels with the team, shaping experiences, building systems and figuring out better ways to make the work great.
My leadership style is hands-on, collaborative and low-ego. I give people the context and trust they need to do great work while staying close enough to help.
The world keeps changing, but the part I enjoy most hasn’t: making great things with great people.
I like my pixels tidy. The rest of life has other ideas.
Outside of work, I coach minor hockey, play hockey and support the Canucks against my better judgement. I have one dog, two kids and five bikes and I maintain that the bike ratio is reasonable.
I’ll draw on just about anything and would love to ski on every continent (currently sitting at 3/7).
All of this is supported by a constant supply of coffee and my wife’s pho.
